Age 15
Chore chart for 15 year olds
Fifteen often has a permit, a job, or a calendar that is no longer yours. The chart should shrink, not vanish. Fewer rows, heavier jobs.
Gas, rides, and a later curfew can be privileges. Trash, laundry, and a bathroom can stay as membership in the house. Say which is which.
What a 15-year-old can do
Use this as a menu. Your house, your safety rules.
- Own laundry
- One dinner
- A full bathroom
- Car interior or a yard block
- Check tomorrow’s rides the night before
Skip these for now
Not because kids are incapable of growth — because the risk or the teaching cost is too high for a first chart.
- Paying them for every dish if you said dishes are baseline
- Late driving as a chore you assign
- Supervising younger kids overnight
How to run the week
Write the gas or data deal next to the privilege, not in a text thread you cannot find.

- Fewer rows, heavier jobs.
- Printable or digital?
- Either. Teens often prefer checking a phone. Little kids prefer the fridge.
