Whole home
Whole-house chore chart
A whole-house page is a map: who owns kitchen, bathrooms, floors, trash. It is not a list of 40 tiny tasks. If you need 40 tasks, you need a weekend project, not a daily chart.
Use this alongside personal bedroom charts. Personal + shared is clearer than one giant grid nobody reads.
Shared vs personal
Personal: bed, hamper, backpack, devices. Shared: kitchen cycle, bathrooms, trash, living room reset. Write names next to shared jobs and rotate.
Questions parents ask
- Can one child “own” the kitchen?
- For a week, yes. Forever, no — unless they want it and you pay or privilege it honestly.
